Have you seen Wah Nails? I follow their Instagrams and am continuously amazed at the tiny artworks produced on nails. Now, I am not one to be totally into painting nails. I personally hate to paint my fingernails. Toenails are ok though, for some reason. Today, while my entire house was napping I got creative. I was feeling inspired and found I actually kind of liked this form of artwork. It has been hard to make any art due to my broken finger, but this turned out ok. They are a little rough around the edges, but good for my first try.

In other news, we need rain so badly. These lovely thunderstorms continue to dance right past our house, literally dropping rain two blocks away.
The only thing thriving in this heat is my okra. I love their yellow flowers.
Should be making gumbo or fried okra soon!
